When Simon Doull Said Shubman Gill Could Lead an IPL Side within Two Years

 


The former New Zealand player turned successful commentator, Simon Doull praised youngster Shubman Gill's maturity. He said that he can be seen leading an IPL team soon.

His calm and composed knock against experienced spin bowlers like Rashid Khan was equally praiseworthy.

“I think Eoin Morgan had the best ally on the other end in Shubman. So, the experience and calm nature of Morgan was supported well by the youthful exuberance of Shubman. He kept his head in place and I think it was a very very fine innings," he further added.

Doull, meanwhile expressed that playing with the veteran players like Dinesh Karthik, Eoin Morgan and Brendon McCullum will help Gill to become the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in the next two years as well. And, he wouldn’t be surprised if this happens in future.

Amit Mishra shares his thoughts on spin bowling

  India has produced a good number of quality spinners throughout the year but there are very few wrist spinners available and Amit Mishra is one of them.
