The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to start from 9th April 2021. We have witnessed many tremendous matches in the last season of IPL. There were many controversies, bad umpiring, disputes.

Who can qualify IPL 2021 Playoffs

According to the current squad and last year’s form we can predict the four teams can qualify for the playoff. Four teams i.e. Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians can qualify for the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians: 4 times IPL title winner has the higher probability to reach in IPL playoffs.

Royal Challenger Bangalore: Addition of Glen Maxwell made the team stronger. Also, Virat declared that he will open with Devdutt Padikkal and A B De Villiers will be keeping for the RCB this year of IPL.

Delhi Capitals: Recently, Skipper of Delhi Capitals hurt himself in the 1st ODI against England. As a result of this unner up of IPL 2020 has the higher probability of qualifying the playoffs.

Chennai Super Kings: After the comeback of MR. IPL Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja the squad of CSK looks quite strong to make a place in Indian premier league playoffs.

A Glimpse from the last year IPL points table

Defending champion Mumabi Indians was at the top spot at the IPL 2020 points with 18 points. Delhi capitals were at the 2nd position with 16 poitns. This year also MI, RCB, DC and CSK has the higher chances to achieve the top spots in points table.

Devdutt Padikkal happy to score a hundred in IPL

  After scoring his maiden IPL hundred, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s young batsman Devdutt Padikkal said that he was keen to contribute for his team's win after he missed the first game of the ongoing league due to COVID-19. Padikkal had tested positive by the virus before the start of the IPL season but he returned in the second game against SunRisers Hyderabad. And, on Thursday evening, he scored an unbeaten 101 to help RCB register a registering 10-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium. "It's been special. I could only wait my turn.
