Indian Team Can Play Well Against New Zealand, Believes Hanuma Vihari
Team India’s Hanuma Vihari has already
impressed everyone with his bat since making his debut in 2018 against England.
However, be it injury or poor form, he got limited opportunities but he did
well whatever chances he got. With the upcoming Test against New Zealand and
England is coming, the Andhra batsman would like to replicate his best game
once again.
Notably, India will play the inaugural
World Test Championship final against New Zealand at Southampton, which is all
set to start on June 18. After that, they will take on England in a five-match
Test series as well.
“I am trying to prepare in the best way
possible for the WTC Final and the England series. It’s going to be interesting
and exciting as well for all the Indian fans because it’s the first edition of
the WTC. We are in the finals and we are playing New Zealand which is going to
be challenging in this condition,” Vihari told India Today.
However, Hanuma Vihari is currently in
England where he is playing for Warwickshire in the County Championship. But so
far it didn't go well for him. He could only manage to score 0, 8, 32, 52, 8
and 0. But he is hoping to do well in the upcoming series as well.
"We all know that but the Indian
team can do outstanding things. I am sure that we’ll be confident going into
the WTC final. I am trying to prepare as best as I can for the WTC and the Test
series after that," Hanuma Vihari added.
On the other hand, Hanuma Vihari, his
friends and followers have been helping people with plasma, oxygen cylinders
and arranged food and also they are trying to arrange hospital beds for
patients amid the crunch time of COVID-19 in India as the country is fighting
with the second wave of this deadly virus as well.
